One of the Presidential candidates has had the worst form of cancer – the most fatal – four times. It’s skin cancer, and he’s the guy from Arizona who doesn’t know how many homes he owns.
If he dies in office, which I certainly hope doesn’t happen, this woman would take over.
Does this scare the crap out of you? It does for me, especially after watching this video:
It should be noted that I respect said senator from AZ. To me, he’s one of the most amazing Americans who ever lived. His service is unending and inspirational. But his ideals and policies match our current regime, and we’re already in heaping helping of trouble.
Think about it.
one word – disaster. i can’t believe there are people out there that think this woman great! i noticed some mccain stickers while driving through michigan this week. what is with this state??? these are same a$$holes that voted for the bushy. i might move to cabo!
Small towns = small thinking. People are afraid to act out of the “norm”, which to them means religion.
I dunno, just my take. But aside from my family and a few friends, this state isn’t really filled with free thinkers. It’s the northern bible belt.
frightening. nothing really else to say.
As I wrote that all I saw today was Obama stickers and signs. But that woman still scares me.
Good luck, Ryan. I hope the wife pops soon. I know you are both anxious.
Hey! Michigan has gone Democrat in the last two elections–both Gore and Kerry took it and I expect Obama to do the same. But yes those people scare me as I see them around me quite a bit. On my street there are two signs out–one Obama-one McCain and I am the one with the Obama. Go Obama!!
I had no idea. Thanks, Aunt Kelly for clarifying.
Thought I’d represent the other side of the fence on this topic… sorta. You gotta admit that video is nothing short of propoganda aimed at making Palin look bad. She hasn’t yet proven that we should have confidence in her skillset or results, which can also be said about Obama. Guess we’ll all see how she and Biden fare in this Thursday’s VP Debate.
Also, I live in a big town (Chicago) and embrace my relationship with Christ – it is not the norm here and I am not a small thinker!
True that – JC has a big presence everywhere. But Mike was talking about all the towns in MI, and I’ve found they make decisions based on their biblical beliefs instead of looking beyond the book, moreso than in the big cities (which are typically democratic).
And, yes, it is propaganda-like. But even credible news sources are saying the most conservative republicans are asking Palin to resign.
I should follow up by saying I don’t think religion should be a person’s only determining factor when choosing a candidate. I tend to vote around economics, propensity for war and a few other items. So when I mention someone is voting based on religion, I believe it shouldn’t be their only criteria.
Of course, I also believe church and state should be separate, too. The follow each other closely (doing the right thing is always doing the right thing), but if intertwined it leads to bad things (see WW1 and 2).
I needed to say one thing because it frustrates me. I don’ t see how anyone can ever compare Palin to Obama when it comes to experience. And everyone knows where Obama stands because he has been visible in the media taking about it for months not hiding out doing interviews with only a couple people. He has been in public office for more than 10 years which is more experience than George W, Lincoln and many others had before they were elected president. The man went to Harvard where he was head of the Harvard Law Review. I think the experience question when it comes to Obama is bulls- and you can no way compare him with a woman who does not know anything about Supreme Court decisions.
howard johnson is right about howard johnson being right.
