Seems everything is caving in these days. Looming taxes. A yard that desperately needs my attention. A to-do list that’s fifteen entries long.
With all that work and SXSW and kids, I’ve been missing a steady cardio workout release. So the old philosophy is new again. Physical exercise is necessary to my mental and physical health, and it must be integrated into my daily routine.
Yesterday I rode to Walnut Creek with a friend, Clair. She organized a 24-hour race team that I was on a couple years back and is a really nice person.
Today I run. Tomorrow I ride. Sunday is the Cap10K.
Focus. Nutrition. Movement.
I’ll get back where I want to be. I have to.
