Remember when you learning about where the names of days originated? Thursday is after the God of Thunder, Thor. Not to be confused with this God of Thunder, Thor.
What the hell was Wednesday?
Last weekend Corky and Karen drove to Austin to see visit the family and celebrate 44 years of married bliss.
Wow.
44 years.
I’m in still in awe. How did you put up with him for so long, Karen?
Grandma Karen presented Katie and Patrick two beautiful outfits (each) that she custom crafted. She could open a business selling these outfits, they’re that good.

PJ looks resplendent in his red-pinstriped baseball overalls (thank God they’re not blue like a certain team I despise). I love to hold him in the seersucker.

Katie is cool as a cucumber in her side-vented shirt with matching bloomers. The patterns are fun.

Dessert as seen through my iPhone. The service at Eddie Vs was impeccable, and they brought this amazing molten chocolate cake for the Karen and Corky. So. Damn. Good.

Grandpa Bob – stop sending pictures, dangummit. You’re giving me unnecessary work over here.
Today’s theme includes a new venue and new clothes for the kids. Yes, we actually do dress them in other things.

Getting ready for our trip to the park with a little indoors play action.

Patchwork PJ is growing out of my favorite outfit for him. Need to find an equally suitable cute replacement.

Grandma Jean was awfully proud of this capture, and now you see why.

“If you’re going, I’m going, too.” Molly loves the slides.
Kids are great, but I’ll get back to more important things like bashing the Cubs and advertising anecdotes in a few. Then Grandpa Corky and Grandma Karen will be in town for their anniversary (45 years?), so I’m sure we’ll have more kiddo fun to post.
Have a great day!

Grandpa Bob sent images to start the day, and different ones to end the day. I think he wants me to blog a lot.
I like the theme here – this time the images are close up.

Amazingly cute. I hope she retains her lovely red hair.

When he smiles and his face is flush from the sun, PJ’s eyes and cheeks really remind me of Grandpa Heramb (his namesake - the James [J] in PJ).

A complete ham when the camera makes an appearance.
The pictures make me want to go get my kids early so I have extra time with them before hockey, ‘eh! Night night, friends.
