Ride, no waiting.

by Joe Doyle on May 14, 2007

Why sit around waiting for kids to appear? I chose to ride.

Sunday - Road ride. 35 miles. Felt good (though I’m slow and pudgey). Flatted. No spare (bonehead). Help from fellow cyclist. Much obliged.

Monday - CX ride. Underbelly tour. Hot temps. Fun through town, raced up the capital with a student. About 1.5 hours total.

Killjoy endorsement – Wearing Smith Threshold Sliders in “smoke”. Lots of wind blockage. Super clear and light - you can’t even tell you’re wearing them. Plus they don’t block your peripheral vision like some thicker frames.

Best quote – This tidbit reminded me that the mighty White Sox battle the lowly and cute little bear cubs this weekend:

“There’s a terrible delight in watching a rival sink without a trace.”
– Bernard Hinault

Least I forget, Happy Belated Birthday to our friend Tiffany and my soon-to-be-wed cousin Liz.
