Please stop believing.

I’m stunned at how good this is.

Seriously, you have to hit that play button.

Thanks, Missy. It’s gotta be hard being married to a Cubs fan.

Hee hee, too delicious. Too sweet.

Look at the sore-headed basement dwellers, looking for company to their misery. Sorry, Hoss, all us Cubs fans are upstairs, here in the lead of the NL Central. Sure, it’s a weak division. Sure, it’s only by a single game. Sure, it’s raining cats and dogs and we may never see St. Louis leave town. But it could be worse, and you don’t have to go far to see exactly how MUCH worse.

The best thing about Sox fans is they don’t have to change colors when they go into an official state of mourning over their dashed playoff hopes, usually right after the All Star break. The ghost of Jerry Reinsdorf’s ill-advised comment still lingers, even a decade later, doesn’t it?

Go Cubs! Win it all! Or don’t. Whatever. Just keep the beer flowin, the tank tops jigglin’ and the sun shinin’ on the prettiest park in baseball. When you got that, believing is only natural.

Well put! Finally a response other than “Sox suck” or “our chicks are hotter”.

Still, it ain’t gonna happen this year. I hope everyone in Cubby land can appreciate that.
