The Trumpet Lilies have gone nuts - about 4′ tall and full of blooms this year.

Sunday finished Mother’s Day proper with the Wilco show at Stubbs BBQ. We got down real close.

Pssshhh…I saw Wilco when they were Uncle Tupelo.

Your lily’s look nice, but they’d look nicer in Chicago!

No way, dude. They’d still be in the ground waiting for it to thaw if they were in Chicago.

Aren’t you JUST getting tulips?

Nooooo…they are starting to die. I think all that snow made things bloom earlier.

What is it…like 95 degrees already. Have fun with alllll that for the next 7 months!

80s, but humid. It’s shorts and flip flops from now until November.

Well, from March really. It’s something living down here in paradise.

I’ll remember you said that on a warm summer night drinking a beer at Comiskey Park….

Heh heh.

I never said that on a warm summer night drinking a beer.

But you know I will. Need to figure out trip dates!

Aw man, I’m jealous about getting to see Wilco at Stubbs (and I’m jealous that you get to go to Stubbs at all).

Every once in a while they let us in!

Did’nt you just have a big fest in Scotland?
