If you know me, you know I love trucks. Pickups. Exotic 4X4s and Jeeps (the only vehicle I owned more than three years).
Well, for my 13th car since my 17th birthday, I went full-on family, ahem, truck. It’s built like a truck. Rides a truck platform.
But is has all the family features like three rows of seating and side curtain airbags throughout. It’s my first automatic (bummer), my first car with leather, my first SUV and a couple other firsts (like the 10-speaker Bose package).
The car seats are in the garage and ready to go. All we need are kids…
Hey kids, I love the new “ride.” Perfect for a soon to be family of four. Stacey, you’ve had such a perfect pregnancy it’s just amazing. That little guy actually turned for you! He’s thinking of his Mom already. Of course you have to factor out the little problems here and there, like the wrists, and the rash, and the peeing. Just little things that will go away soon and you’ll forget them and how problematic they were at the time. Time is running out and probably not soon enough for both of you. I am sooooo anxious to meet these two new family members that I can hardly wait until they make their appearance. We are patiently awaiting our phone call with the breaking news.
Love to all of you!
Aunt Pam
Sweet ride. It’s “trucky” enough for now, while still serving the family purposes.
DVD? You’ll need one in the next car, to keep the kids busy on future trips to Chi-town for Sox games….. Speaking of which, I suggest a copy of the 2005 world series to start the indoctrination early…..
Only a few more days to go!
Take care,
Mark
Well that’s one DVD we already own. Side note – I just ordered a White Sox receiver cap for the hitch.
Anyway, the DVD systems they offer are always so expensive, so we opted not to get one. If needed, we can get those portables that strap over the seats.
Hi to your lovely wife….

Time to switch out that lame-o dealer front plate for something more apropos like “My other car is a custom HotTubes” or “Jonathan Page/Tinker Juarez/Todd Metz is my co-pilot”.
Todd Metz is my co-pilot! Love it!
