In case you missed it, the new Chubs statue has a typo.
Said one fan (almost happily), “That’s the Cubs for you.”
Does Schadenfreude extend to the fans themselves?
I mean, could it be that they actually want to lose year after year after year after year (x 100)? Or maybe it’s the paper that owns the Chubs that wants to extend Schadenfreude (by reporting the fan was almost happy)?
I personally hope this gets added to the list of curses. It’s worthy.
