Y’know, maybe I’m just cynical, but early voting, seems wrong. With the media attention these people get nowadays, what if something is brought to light between the time one votes and Election Day? Like a Gary Hart thing or a Joe Biden thing or who knows what?
I stood in line for an hour in 1992 for Clinton and knew people who stood in line for 3, so I understand why there’s early voting, but things can change in a heartbeat and early voting makes me nervous. But if it gets more people out to vote, then I’m all for it.
Standing in line is for suckas, sucka.
Funny you should mention that…I had to go by the Oak park Village Hall the other day and there was a looong line for early voting. Weird, eh? I was thinking, isn’t this the reason they HAVE early voting?
We don’t believe in lines down in the south. We leave that to you Yankees.
Oprah had to wait 72 minutes to vote-in early voting. She had problems with the machines. She said it did not record her presidential vote when she double checked on the electronic machine and she is telling everyone to double check. If we have another 2000 election, I am going to freak!
Voting for change! Awesome! I was told yesterday that I was drinking the kool-aid because I was for Obama. That this country will not be able to afford his plans. I was like–OK–McCain’s “trickle down economics” has worked so well for us in the past with Reagan, Bush and Bush–let’s just try that again. 4th time is a charm! Because we can only trust rich people with money! Someone should try something other than Fox News Network!
Take it easy, cheesy.
Bears.
