To kick off Father’s Day weekend the wife decided to hit a Steve Earle concert. I’m not as big of a fan and found myself relegated to kid duty (I know, on MY weekend of all times).
So to make Friday a little more fun I decided we should go to Phil’s Ice House for burgers and a giant playscape. Here are the wee ones waiting for our dinner to be called. Whenever we go to a joint where they call names, I switch it up so they call one kid or the other. I think they’ll appreciate that some day.
If you’re a dad or have one, I wish you a Happy Father’s Day. I wonder where Stacey will go tomorrow and leave me with the lovely kids…

They look toasty–Do they like that heat? They are Irish so I imagine that like it cold and windy!
How is the experiment with them sleeping in beds? Are they staying in their rooms?
Happy Father’s Day Bro!! You are a great dad!!
Thanks sis.
The kids like the heat, but I’ve got the girl saying “it’s hot out, daddy”. Lots of SPF 70.
They are staying in their beds, especially when very tired. But they come out on occasion and we move them back after they fall asleep.
Despite my comments above, the wifey and family have gone out of their way to make today great. I’m very appreciative.
