Dr. Cowan asked me that today. This, right after he said “woah, that kid’s head is really close”.
Stacey is dilated to 3 cms and the kids have healthy heartbeats/movements. We see the doctor next Thursday, May 10, for a full growth sonogram. At that point he’ll likely schedule us for Monday delivery (May 14th).
If Stacey doesn’t pop before then.
BUT, we found out even more interesting news. Seems the boy decided to take a dive to the head-down position. He’s in the right spot for natural birth and Dr. Cowan is pushing for it (pun intended). Apparently not too many people have the stars align like this.
Their birth on May 14th would be special, it’s Scott Bingham’s birthday (Stacey’s brother). If they go on May 15th, that would be cool with me, too. It was my Uncle Bill Doyle’s birthday.
Here’s a shot of Stacey and her belly in our new ride (more on that later):
One last parting note – Dr. Cowan is a HUGE Elvis fan and I’ve been poring over his book collection on visits. I feel right at home. He even has a velvet Elvis! So jealous…

You’re almost there – sweet!
Congrats on the new fly ride – and best of luck and rest during the next few critical weeks. SLEEP NOW!
It’s weird, but I’ve been getting 8-9 hours every night. Maybe my body senses the upcoming drain to it’s system.
Did you Ghost Ride That Whip to the Dr.’s office?
See you in a week.
You better believe it!
OK, I’m pulling for next Saturday, May 12 — a) it’s my birthday (who wouldn’t want their kids to share that?) and b) it’s the day before Mother’s Day, so you guys can totally celebrate, like, for real. Counting down!
I think Stacey is in agreement on that one. earlier is better! If I forget to tell you, Happy Birthday.

You are cheap! With twins on the way, cubans I’d say old chap!
Ah crikey. You know I’d love one – better yet, a Pinzgauer. Someday. For now I need the third row and side curtain airbags for the precious cargo.

Oh, Cubans for close friends. That’s what I decided.
