Damn, just when you thought it was over, another freak cycling accident in Austin. This time it involves a motorcycle, and we all know they need to be über alert on the road, too.

My normal workout ride (when I’m riding) is a quick jaunt on un-congested side streets, bike path, singletrack, the capital and the university. I think the most dangerous part is riding near those students in the a.m. – they’re like zombies.

Rubber side down, friends. Especially to all those conquering RAGBRAI. I need to do that some day…

You may now stop recording the tour. I’ve had enough with the cheaters racing against clean riders.

Apparently it’s high time I start wearing this apropos t-shirt again.

This time it has nothing to do with cyclists hitting pedestrians. Instead, this time the cyclists is beating on a motorist in Oregon.

Interesting read. The cyclist is going to face some repercussion as a city employee, and what was the motorist thinking? He had his family in the car. Idiots all around.

Anyone attend in other cities? I remember seeing Pure Sweet Hell (below) in some shell of a building in West Chicago. It’s fun when cyclists get together to watch cycling.
