Brentwood Park - May Day ‘08

by Joe Doyle on May 2, 2008

We had some time to kill before Stacey got home – she was caught up by a demonstration at the Capital. So the kids, Molly and I headed for the park.

We’re just getting used to having them outdoors. They still eat everything, so it’s a constant barrage of “don’t put that in your mouth” and “yuckies”. Maybe we’re too protective or something, but they are finally catching on. I hope they end up loving the outdoors as much as me.

Here a few shots from the camera phone. The rest can be found on the Flickr account.

Everyone loved Katie’s dress and bloomers.

Patrick was into the grass and swings.

She always has to see what he has. Most times she’ll take it from him.

We weren’t on the ground 5 minutes before the neighborhood girls came by. Funny how little girls love babies.

When you are outside with the kids, just remember this:

God made dirt, so dirt can’t hurt.

ok, I have to ask - you took those photos with a phone? damn. My photos usually look like they were taken underwater.

KD - Should I give the some sort of shots or something? What do you mean by prepare? Ha!

MG – Thanks. It’s a Sony Ericsson W810i MP3 phone with a decent 2.0 Mega Pixel camera. It’s known for that feature and – up until yesterday – worked flawlessly. I think it needs a new battery. I wonder what the iPhone images look like - next gen I’m getting one.

Yes-get them drunk and make them true blue Irish kids! Nice! I would hope that you would be telling them that I am coming and picking out their very best outfits. You should teach them how to say my name! HAHA!

They don’t even say my name. I think they are, but then they just go on repeating “da da da” at everything.
