Cecile Diane Garcia

by Joe Doyle on February 21, 2008

Some of y’all know Mark and Kristin Garcia, they of the Jefferson Park (Chicago) Garcias.

On Tuesday they gave birth to their first baby girl. Mom and baby are well, dad is overjoyed.

5lbs, 12oz, 18.5″ long.

Nice work, Garcias!

Chris Berman unleashed

by Joe Doyle on February 18, 2008

In the 90’s I was in Arizona for Spring Break and I heard Harry Caray say “where’s my Budweiser - somebody bring me a new one” during a commercial break. Back then, if you were watching a satellite feed not intended for your area you didn’t have commercials stripped in – it was live dialogue.

Enter Chris Berman. Someone at ESPN should probably lose their job for posting these videos. He talks about popping Canadian OTC meds, Al Michaels, he even swears a lot like a trucker. Granted, they are eight years old and the employee was probably fired some time back. But they are funny.

YouTube pulled them, but these guys still have em.

Love this stuff.
