When you’re a kid you become enamored with lots of things – usually for a brief minute or two until something else catches your attention.
Like everyone, I’d get crazy for the Shriners at the 4th of July parade (come on, you love em). Big men, little cars. So cool. I don’t know if they issue you a little car and Fez upon entry, but if that’s the case I think I might be finally old enough to join.
My web host, Omnis, has been having a rough go this past week. As a result this blog has been down more than up. And it did something crazy to the images last week. Turns out this isn’t the first time they screwed up.
One thing is for sure, I’ll be happy when my Stalelife Studios partner (Kurt) and I buy a rack of our own. No more issues. Until then, here are some tasty morsels (get a good view in before Omnis explodes):
Found art: created by Kevin Nierman. Copies will soon be available and one would look great in my office. Dirt Rag rocks.
Night ride: Stacey is off to Chicago for a baby shower with all the family, so I think I’ll do this Thursday night. Anyone in Austin care to join?
Runnin’ the marathon: My old roommate Joe (aka Hose A) is coming in from Chi-town to run the Austin marathon on Sunday. He’s prepping for an ultra marathon in Ireland, whatever the hell that is. I’m gonna shoot for five miles of support runnin. Is the whole world sponsored by AT&T? They are everywhere in Texas. Do y’all get as much AT&T sponsored events as we do? No complaints, they pay me for the creative stuff, which I like.
Man, you know how sisters get, right? When they really want something? Alright Kelly, here it is…update for the week. Damn, you’re gonna see your sister-in-law in one week!
The boy and girl have outgrown their space and we’ve still got a while to go. The boy has been kicking a lot, and last week we watched a limb make a protrusion in Stacey’s belly. All I keep thinking about is the movie Alien.
Week: 25 Pre-born size: The kids should be around 13″ or so. Development: These kids are very active, especially when Stacey is seated. Their brains are learning new things and they should know our voices. Twins begin to explore each other and begin their life-long bond around this time.
Belly:
Bonus for Aunt Suzie – our Christmas Cactus and African Violet are in bloom. The birds like to look through the window at them.
Last, for all you suckas up north, I went riding today and it was 75º and sunny. Sleeveless kit and a whole lotta sweat. I hope y’all thaw out soon.
